I've been been able to get my Audible books onto my Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music by using the free OpenAudible program to convert the Aubible AAX file to MP3 (chapters, skip, and pausing lost in doing this), and then adding the MP3 to iTunes, which is set to convert the no-longer copy-protected MP3 to M4a, a file type recognized by the Garmin Express app.
Press the 'B' button (bottom) and you'll get a menu that has a gear at the bottom. In that tree is a 'Music' -> 'Music…. I'm pretty sure I've found the solution for my particular issue. I couldn't sync playlists despite being connected to my WiFi. Tired the Garmin uninstall/reinstall recommendation.

If wifi is connected, it will use it to sync, and even pull down FW updates (much faster than through your phone). But wifi is only on when it's being used, so right after you save an activity it will turn on to sync your activity or if you manually turn it on. So it's rarely actually on in your case. Like GPS it's only on when it's needed.
It's a barometric altimeter, which helps with elevation. You can see this on an activity after it's recorded, or add a data field with it to a GPS activity.
