Hello! Have you tried removing the Spotify app, making sure you are logged in to the Spotify app. Then can you hold the power button down on the watch until the screen goes black. Turn it back and stand next to the router when you sync your music. Please let me know if this works! If you uploaded your routes to the watch they’ll be under the Courses in Navigation. WTch DCrainmaker he has a video on this. But AFAIK you can't upload courses/routes to a VA4, only waypoints. dwMaps is probably the closest. VA4 doesn’t support map routes for navigation. Navigace. I've been been able to get my Audible books onto my Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music by using the free OpenAudible program to convert the Aubible AAX file to MP3 (chapters, skip, and pausing lost in doing this), and then adding the MP3 to iTunes, which is set to convert the no-longer copy-protected MP3 to M4a, a file type recognized by the Garmin Express app.

But wifi is only on when it's being used, so right after you save an activity it will turn on to sync your activity or if you manually turn it on. So it's rarely actually on in your case.
